During the Reach Heroes Day i learnt many different things. I learnt many lessons in life and i also learnt about myself. The lesson that stood out for me the most that day was when the twenty dollar note was given away. As the note was passed around by the Reach leaders, it never occurred to me to stand up and get it myself. The lesson behind that activity was to take every opportunity yourself instead of letting it come to you. I learnt that if i want something i have to go out and get it myself instead of relying on others to bring it to me. Also, the lesson taught me to take every opportunity that may come my way otherwise i might miss out on something that i want. The whole program taught me to look at life differently and therefore i have a different outlook on my life now. I definitely got a lot out of this program as a learnt very valuable life lessons.
